Both of those machines are running 2.5.3 as of about noonish today. First
thing I did as soon as the monitors warmed up. Then I finished wiring the
lathe back up, same as it was before the belt/pulley burnup, but something
has happened to my braking setup, so its being disabled at about 30 rpm on
the stop, so its now coasting about 2 extra turns. Its actually set to
disable braking at 1 rpm. Waaay to slow as I can probably throw the relays
at 10 rpm safely.

Now, if I fix this .hal, I'll have to start with a fresh rockhopper
printout, as its a heck of a lot easier to see the logic flow, about a days
work by the time I get it pasted together and taped to the door. By then
my back is truly wasted and no more for the day.

If I have to re-invent this 300 line monster hal file, I would just as soon
not do it twice, but start from scratch using the 5i25. But the first
problem is I don't have a short bracket, so I can't install it and expect
it to stay plugged in without it. Peter said he was going to make himself
a note so he wouldn't forget it, a week ago last Friday IIRC, but it hasn't
fallen out of my mailbox yet.

That leaves me DITW. And wondering what I have to do to make pncconf find
the 5i25 stuff. The above copy op didn't do a thing.

It shouldn't be all that hard to tell me where to put the stuff I DL from
mesanet.

Thanks Chris.

Cheers, Gene
