I pulled from 2.7.0 pre master as I always do.
The rest of the build is fine and I dont see any problem with the 
configure script either. There was some stuff missing but as it was 
asked by configure, I installed them.

OK - just ran the checkbuilddeps and found some stuff missing. I am 
fixing it
This is a first time for me that I get this kind of failure but then I 
did rebuild the machine recently.
