Thanks to everyone who tested and provided feedback on this project. It has now been merged to the master branch of git.linuxcnc.org.
The total scope of the project was 116 files changed, 4026 insertions(+), 4452 deletions(-) in 43 commits which is a slight increase from the first time I reported change statistics, | 93 files changed, 4146 insertions(+), 2251 deletions(-) I have also rebased the branch with support for the Mesa ethernet cards onto master branch, and renamed it. This code is now available as branch jepler/hm2-eth. As before, the main problem preventing this branch from being merged is that it breaks the other hm2 drivers, including hm2_pci and hm2_7i43. The last version of the uspace branch that is based on the 2.6 branch has been preserved as branch jepler/rtos-uspace-for-2.6. A final rebase of the support for mesa ethernet cards onto jepler/rtos-uspace-for-2.6 is jepler/hm2-eth-for-2.6. I don't plan any further work on these 2.6-based branches, but there may be legitimate reasons for some people to continue using them.
