ok finally moving on with linuxcnc and the boot.iso wheezy image
started now to use development build
i have now found that i am recieving the failed to map shmem error as per

having been knocked down into using the fix as per machinekit as previously
mentioned
however do note that on the boot.iso wheezy , and before i'm shouted at
again
that the fix as per the above is already in place
error information is
RTAPI: ERROR: failed to map shmem
RTAPI: Locked memory limit is 64KiB, recommended at least 20480KiB.
This can cause the error 'failed to map shmem'.
