Like this: loadrt and2 names=and2.dirchg,and2.yaspindle,and2.lkoutspndl,and2.medbrake,and2.slowbrake addf and2.dirchg servo-thread etc for the rest of the names. That makes the hal code a lot easier to follow. I had been under the impression that the given names= expected the unique number, and the names as above, with the unique part beyond the dot as shown above. I don't think I'd want a total substitute because then the modules function is hidden. All instances of the above seem to be working, but it is in that area that I am currently testing because I don't think the brakes are working. I can see the leds cycling on the BOB but its coasting too much. And that will screw up a G33.1 peck cycle. The only other thing I can think of is that "spindle" might be a keyword for hal? I don't recall reading any such rumor though. Thanks John. We had company the last 3 hours, but now I can get back to it.
