Greetings all;

I should also note that as I prepare that disk for a 2nd wheezy install,
that I have finally located a partitioning utility that claims it can deal
with these new-fangled 4k/sector drives. I was not able to satisfy fdisk
with anything I did with gparted, but gdisk saw the problem and fixed it
automatically, so a "w" to actually commit it to the drive was all I
needed to do after running it against that drive.

No complaints from any of them now.

So "gdisk" would seem to be _thee_ tool to prepare these 1Tb and up
drives. Looks a lot like fdisk in operation. No gui IOW.

Now if I can just convince the &^$# installer to use what it finds, it
always wants to argue the point.

Cheers, Gene Heskett
