Let me know if that works.  What I was also trying to imply is that you 
might need to look at the docs for your distro and see if there is 
anything specific that needs to be done.  Fortunately/Unfortunately, as 
soon as I fix this problem (which each install/new-user, I promptly 
forget what I put in the magic sauce...
