Apparently not. Shentels cloud based mailserver doesn't like html at all, so it looks like I need to call them again. I already have one problem they are not going to fix. Because so many are accessing via imap AND something that also downloads the email, they have disabled fetchmails (and mailfilter too) ability to delete a downloaded message. So I have to log in with a browser, check the time stamps, and if more than 5 minutes old for the newest one, do a delete all from firefox. I don't think its kosher but thats how it is. To me its a PIMA. > Maybe your ISP (or someone in the path) got flooded? > > Glad to hear from you anyway, I was starting to wonder if you got > flooded. Tough times in WVA this week. > No, I'd gone to Tn to get a lathe, a 1952 11x48 Sheldon, pulling back in here about 4 hours ahead of the storm, which had my standby running for about 14 hours before power was solid again. And now I am attempting to figure out how to remove the taper attachment since its only a foot long, and how to install a 16mm x 1200mm 1605 C7 ball screw for Z, which looks like a matter of removing the OEM screw and apron & making a new apron just to hold the ball nut. Put the thrust bearing right on the casting, the floating bearing where the OEM bearing is on the right, and belt drive it using the motor I took off the G0704. It won't be very fast but I have the complete kit, 60 volt psu, driver and this 1600 oz motor that I'll mount to the back of the bed, shaft facing the end and a toothed belt at a 1/1 ratio. But X is playing with my mind as the screw was anchored to the taper jig which is now in a drawer on the floor. And the nut is again small since it has to clear the ridges of the beds profile. I might see if a 12mm ball nut can be ground away, but that won't be until I've pulled the handle off to see just how it all fits together. This is one where the screws anchor point was the taper jig and the handle is a socket for a long keyed section on the front end of the screw so the taper jig runs the carriage in and out while the keyed shaft slides in and out of the handles socket. So the handle doesn't move by the taper while its moving the carriage, but you can crank it by hand at the same time. Neat idea but a PIMA to simplify. I've got one 8m screw about 13" long left, if I can figure out how the seal the &^$ swarf out of its open nut. The crossfeed moves easy enough the 8mm could probably do it, and since I have it, its worth taking some measurements I think. Fun & games with my back is turning to drudgery though. > Regarding the list, traffic has been light, but still there. I just checked the webmail, this msg is there, and the 2 from the listserver advising me I am already subscribed , but thats it. one spam & one ham in their spam box for me, neither from these 2 lists. > emc-developers had 3 today, 3 Friday, 1 Thursday, 1 Wednesday, 1 > Tuesday, etc More crickets. > Regards, > > John Kasunich > > On Sun, Jun 26, 2016, at 08:04 PM, Gene Heskett wrote: > > Seb; > > > > I thought I was subscribed to both lists, but no traffic in 10 days > > from user, and 13 days from the developer list.
