Got it, its working, many thanks Sebastian. I owe you some hand coolers if we ever get in the same county. :) But I had to stop it just now as I needed to put the follow rest on this old Sheldon I just bought, and the bolts to mount it are missing. So I need to hit TSC for some grade 8's, 12's if they have them. My bolt stock has been fed by the surplus of buying bolts of a size I can use on the toys, so my 3/8-18 selection is limited to 3, the shortest one I need at least 1/2" more, and the other 2 are inches too long. Several pounds of 1/4-28's but few of the bigger stuff. Looking at the time aged grunge on the rest, and the fact that I've had to use a hammer to adjust the fingers, and I had to clean out the bolt holes on the carriage with a 30yo Japanese tap just to get a bolt started, my best guess is that the follow has never in this lathes history, been mounted. The steady, maybe, but its bolt is also on the missing list. One of the longer ones might do for that. Thanks again. FWIW, the previous version did ask me for permission to upgrade my configs, I said yes of course, but I haven't looked to see what it did as the motion after stop was, ANAICT, the only problem. So that script appears to have done whatever it needs to flawlessly. So thanks to whoever wrote that script are due too. Take care.
