Greeting;

Several months ago, I managed to figure out how to approximate the little
monsters working envelope so that code that would run on the little
monster could also be run in the simulator. And I recall the numbers I
changed didn't seem to connect, but they worked, I just cannot recall
what I did then, too long ago.

Unforch, this current code will not run because I had at the time set the
Z limit to protect the chucks jaws. But the jaws are not in the chuck
and I need that extra inch of envelope in order to run this toolpost
carving code. The values that are in the ini file could be anything as
they do not appear to be used in the .hal file.

So, silly, or not so silly Q, can the halfile syntax used in a real
machine, be transplanted into the simulated_limits.hal file so that
these limits set in the ini file work exactly like they do in my 3 real
machines?

I have taken the 2, z limit min settings I can find, in the negative
direction, to the left so the code would then be within the envelope box
in the backplot, with zero effect, the box doesn't move.

Thank you.

Cheers, Gene Heskett
