Stefan Böttscher have added possibility to inteface profibus to linuxcnc. I am currently trying to get a Siemens ET 200L-SC to work with pyprofibus. http://bues.ch/cms/automation/profibus.html
If i remember correctly he had used a raspberry board during development while I use an ordinary and for some reason I had to add a few delays in the state machine before it worked. Any suggestion about why these delays must be there would appreciated? I know he got a module up and work. For parametrization frame the first seven bytes seems to be correctly handled for me but for the rest of the parametrization frame it does not seems to be absolutely correct and I have not yet been able to get it any better myself. Any suggestions about the parametrization frame would be helpful.
