Greetings all;

of some of a:

timeout waiting for atspeed on id31, but received from id24

which may not be verbatum but is very close.

And I've also had joint 2 following errors if I push Z (on my G0704)
faster than F25.

Just 3 days or so back, I tested its jog speed, and Z could do 80+ ipm,
both directions so this error is a puzzler. I'll investigate tomorrow
before I restart this pocketing frenzy again.

So I've stopped the current job as it was making enough noise to bother
Dee, and I've edited the code to restart it where I stopped it.

This lack of moving in air speed is making an 11 hour job out of carving
each pocket in the side of the tool post base that should be doable in 3
or 4, and I have 4 such pockets to cut.

I think I have worked out a stronger, more rigid way to make this, as
opposed to essentially duplicating the bottom of the old compound which
was only marginally stronger than the edge of a quality paper plate.

By making the cutout for the wrench tall enough that a box end wrench can
be slipped in and dropped over the bolt and nut on the armstrong bolt,
which requires a much narrower but taller porthole, the shape of the box
end's shank is its own clearance for quite a bit more than 1/12th of a
turn and I'm not required to carve it out for socket clearance all the
way to the top. Thats the plan at least as I've cut the depth for the
wrench's loop, but not for its height yet, so I can't put a nut in the
wrench and slip it in to see if its deep enough yet.

Ideas on this strange, new to me new error msg welcome.

Thanks all.

Cheers, Gene Heskett
