My toothpick sized oar here in this discussion...

I'm quite used to the red for false, and green for go/active. So I'm not 
really in favor of this change, but I'd be greatfull for a 2nd pin and a 
third/fourth color to indicate its in a configuration mode. Such as a 
jog dial having the jog size per click adjusted.  Now I have to watch 
the screen readout to see if my adjustment is taking effect because I 
think I have pushed hard enough to enable that gain set mode, but have 
not in fact pushed hard enough, so the machine moves with the dial click 
instead.

Because the only pushbutton I could source as a good, sturdy, long 
lasting button, needs at least a 10 pound push to hold it down, and 15 
or more to actually trip the toggle and close it, its a bit of a pita, 
needing 2 hands, to push the switch with one and turn the dial carefully 
with the other. If the led had a third color, I'd change the switch 
logic to alternate action in a New York minute.
