Hi all,

sorry, my english is not so good. I use Linuxcnc since about 2007, try to get more experience since...
I mention it before on "Emc-users Digest, Vol 98, Issue 58"

The idea is that you start you machine, home it , do some mill action or jog around and than when press the "home" bottom again, then pops out a window: "Axis is already homed, are you sure you want to re-homed?" if you then press "yes" the Machine do the home sequence again and tell you with a pop-window something like: " your home location now has a difference of 0.2xx from the last time of your home position"
or "the home switch location is 0.3mm away from the expect location"
I now there must a way to do this, but didn't i figured it out till get. I would be so helpful for low budged Machines to get the maximum speed and acculation.  I know that the "prusa 3D printer" can do something similar.
Thanks a lot for your passion!
Chris
