1. The documentation for M0 and M1 should say to continue at the next
line, click the paused icon.

If there is a hot key, I've not found it, but I use it when doing a
manual tool change for tools that don't fit in the tool.tbl data format,
like taps. And while its not indexed, each gui has its own list, and "s"
is that key for axis. Hard to find in a 700+ page document.

2. The similarity between g52 and g92, plus the fact they both use the
same storage, somewhat muddies the water. And it probably should be
mentioned that the vars|params files propagates unwanted DRO offsets,
like the .003mm offset I have in the x DRO ATM.

Can this be cleared by some means other than nuking the file and
restarting LCNC? I've done that once, no effect. I can touch off to
0.00000000, but the on-screen DRO still says 0.003mm.

I do see that g92 sets a valid flag, but didn't note in my reading that
this flag is cleared by the first encounter with a g92.2. That leaves me
wondering if a g92.2 checks this flag and does nothing if its cleared,
and if valid, clears the offset and this flag. Meaning it could be
harmlessly used again, the belt and suspenders approach when the code
also has a bunch of IF's and WHILE's in it that might effect the codes
flow path's.

Thanks for any clarifying discussions. Or docs fixes.

I'm going to make another 3 or 4 tap hats. Yesterdays single stepping
seems to verify that I've solved THAT problem. That of course doesn't
mean there aren't more. I broke a 4x.7mm tap Friday, and found that the
little elastomer flex coupling fixing the encoder to the motor shaft
extension had apparently never been re-tightened after having it apart
the last time, so the encoder, easy as it is to turn, was slipping. Not
conducive to long tap life when rigid tapping. :( And the next tap is
squeaking even when slathered in buttercutt.
