And because it was set to gedit, I installed it, much to my 
dissapointment. gedit is a disaster looking for a place to happen and IT 
WILL FIND IT. geany just works being my point. Why not give us a good 
editor with the next respin?

Not that I have anything against mousepad, I've never used it, so I don't 
have an opinion as to its trust worthiness, but its name reminds me of 
windows.  Spit. Improve the entry level new users experience by giving 
him/her a full featured editor that Just Works...
