I've found none of the arm stuff is dead dependable unless it has active cooling. I've had the rock64 upchuck while building a kernel, same with the pi. Put a teeny little video card fan on it, running that 12 volt fan on 5 volts, and it runs from power bump to power bump. You might try that on the Odroid's.
