First things first, this code I just cloned, doesn't resemble code I
already pulled, mine may say 2.9, but the debian/configure script
obviously has not been touched since wheezy. And it says its 2.9-pre
when built.

So first, I'm useing your git clone. And if the debian configure is
usable, I'll try it. Should know in a few minutes. THIS configure is
usable, so here goes with the rest of this according to you and John.

It won't work though, I forgot to swap the hostmot2/hm2_rpspi.c file for
the one I patched to enable some debugging. It looks as if we need to
trim the spi_read speeds, and it wasn't responding so Bertho had me
enable some debugging to see why.

And as I said, it didn't work, so I need to move that file into place.
And when I did, and re-ran the debuild -uc -us, I got this when I
installed it:

dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of linuxcnc-uspace:
 linuxcnc-uspace depends on python-gst-1.0; however:
  Package python-gst-1.0 is not installed.

But that package did not creep back into debian/control.bottom.in
WTH? So I rechecked all that editing, reconfigured it and am rebuilding a
3rd time.

Your turn :)

Thank you.

Cheers, Gene Heskett
