Greetings all; I have built a preempt-rt kernel which runs well on an rpi4. I have also built all the .debs from a master pull now around a month old, and am considering seeing if I can set that up as a monthly cron job. It all runs very well and stable on my rpi4 here. Its also exposed for folks to download, if you know where it is, on my web page, and I've set some iptables rules to stop the bots from DDOSing my limited upload bandwidth site.
Are there any objections to my doing this since you folks disconnected any armhf support over a year ago when the odroid was taken down? Crashed again is my guess. FWIW, the pi's have been dead stable here, nearly 30 days uptime when I rebooted the rpi4 to bring it up to buster 10.2 (raspbian version, armhf, not arm64) just now. And my offer is still there, buying you folks a 2GB rpi4 and an SSD for working space and swap so you can add it to the farm. I'm sure you have a suitable psu, I'm running on a 5 volt 5 amp here, overkill. I ran that way with stickon heat sinks, and the lid of a dead pc psu, driving that fan with that same 5 volt psu, seemed to be sufficient cooling. Installed in place of the rpi3, its running great.
