I suspect that there are not many users of iocontrol_v2. As far as I can see the docs don't even say how to use v2 rather than the default. (The INI config section mentons EMCIO = io, but doesn't mention that the other option is iov2.) Is this issue related to https://github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/issues/49 ?
