In order to test step by step upgrading from 2.7 to 2.8 I grabbed a
Debian Wheezy CD with 2.6 on it and installed it on a HD. This is mainly
to document my experience.
The first issue that showed up was a complaint about security updates
not found.
The second issue I tried to connect to linuxcnc.org and Icewheasel would
not allow a connection because of a secure connection failed with error
ssl_error_no_cypher_overlap. No problem I'll just install Firefox I
think in the morning.
The third issue was trying to upgrade from 2.6 to 2.7 and got a depends
tclx but not installable.
I'll march on in the morning and see if I can get Wheezy upgraded to
2.7, out of time for today.
