I did a "git checkout master-gtk3" on the rpi4. Then ran my build 
scripts.

Everything works. But the config has no gtk3 stuff in it either, all 
pyvcp for added gui stuffs. So not much learned there.

Next I'll see if I can setup the 6040 to build from git.

first stage of build, running configure, installed source-highlight, now 
needs "convert", but which one?

configure: error: no convert, documentation cannot be built
