My fadal rebuild/retrofit is approaching completion. It's time to start doing the harmonic drive encoder homework so I can build up a 4th axis.
I will be building a hostmot2 interface for the harmonic drive serial encoder. Does anyone know which protocol it uses? I remember someone mentioning hiperface but I can't find it in the archives.. Does anyone know? It is an FHA-32C-100-E250-C. I will be driving it with a mesa 8i20.
