Addendum, Per the Docs, I have tried several variations of [KINS} trivkins configuration = xyzb and xyzab, but the error is always reported as: Invalid parameter `configuration' ./xyzb.hal:4: waitpid failed /usr/bin/rtapi_app trivkins ./xyzb.hal:4: /usr/bin/rtapi_app exited without becoming ready ./xyzb.hal:4: insmod for trivkins failed, returned -1 FWIW, master from earlier this morning. And I finally grokked that "configuration" was the wrong word and it should be coordinates=xyzb with no spaces allowed And it almost works, it does a home_all for all 4 axises, the backplot and DRO work. The DRO is a bit slow at updating the B position. Just one problem left, any B moves in the loaded and run gcode are ignored. The A keys "[]" move the B. But put an A move in the gcode and it won't load, complaining about it. Ideas as to what black hole the interpretors B code moves are going into? Thank you.
