greetings; I'm running a 5i25, driving a 7i76D which claims a small hysteresis about input status reported, about a 20% window. Which should be centered on 6 volts since filed power is 12 vots.
But since I switched to a "trivkins coordinates=xyzb" system, field input 10, used for the home_b net signal is so slow to respond to a 12 volt field power input that my search velocity must be throttled to 5 degrees a second or less in order for the switch to be recognized by the homing logic. Thats about a 2 second responsde time. So that axis only is taking about 10x the time it takes to home the other 3 axises combined. I've tested the switch by hand, its solidly switching the 12 volt field power to the 7i76 cards pin tb6-11. When that same switch was home_a, without the trikins argument, I could home_search at 40 degrees a second and it reliably caught the switch everytime. Turning the servo thread up to 2 kilohertz seems to have made it work at a search vel of 15, but not much faster. Is my math off?, servo-thread is currently set at 500000. halscope says its 2 kilohertz. Suggestions? Things to check? Thank you.
