I stopped recommending them since some worked and some did not with the same part numbers on the chip.

The problem a few years ago was getting the kernel to  recognize the product ID since there are three possible PCI device configs. The driver was back-ported a few years ago.

Hello, all,

I sell PCIe parallel port cards to go with my line of parallel port-connected motion interface boards.

I have found some boards that I can't make work.  My default is the Syba SD-PEX10005 which uses either the MCS9900 or 9901 chip. I recently bought what were supposed to be the same model, but they were some other brand with a similar model # : SI-PEX10010. I couldn't figure out how to get them to work with my boards. These have the WCH CH382L chip, vendor ID 1C00, product ID 3050.

Has anybody run into these and figured out how to make them work in EPP mode?

Thanks,

Jon
