Concerning what OS platform to use for LinuxCNC, what we should possibly do is 
to prepare a questionnaire and have the users mailing list decide about what 
the USB stick should run on. After all, it is them who need to install it/buy 
new computers if we demand too much. Or we do multiple ISOs, i.e. one for 
Buster, one for Bullseye, and one for Bookworm. And then we learn from the 
download stats.

Should we possibly just prepare an alpha release and look how far we get with 
what we have? And offer a public .iso for that?
