Ok its official even if the Debian website needs a few tweaks. You can install Debian 12 from this page https://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/current-live/amd64/iso-hybrid/
So now we have quite an old version of linuxcnc in Debian 12 It would be great if a new version was uploaded to Debian so it gets to testing branch. We should be able to edit sources.list to use that version.
