My hd crashed. Rebuilt some of trashed partition using rescueCD and PhotoRec to recover text files. The i goughta WD Green 250G SSD. Then bought a Sandisk 32G thumb. I followed linuxcnc's howto and loaded the 2.9.1 amd 74 iso. Could not get zsync to work it saying it couldnt find the necc file. Sp o 'just' http downloaded it, and saw no md5sum m so burned it and booted. I got a blank dtop[ with a meny buidden in toip left corner, accessed by altF1. Sometimes, it usually snapped shut before i could chg the vid rez so my eyes would reasd text. Gave up. Opened a terminal session ^altF2? and sudo shutdown 0h now'd it. ReRebooted to a new devian desktop
