Which buildbot are you using?
deb http://buildbot.linuxcnc.org/ buster master-rtpreempt
For some reason buildbot.linuxcnc.org isn't building buster debs for
master:
http://buildbot.linuxcnc.org/buildbot/grid
(but is for 2.9)
Oddly, neither is buildbot2, but that is building debs for Bullseye
and Bookworm.
http://buildbot2.highlab.com/debian/dists/
All I see there for master or 2.9 are tarballs.
Good then, I can upgrade those 3 machiness. But not instantly, my legs
have gone to hell from diabetes, and hopefully the ulcers are now
healing, but its a slow process for an old diabetic. I'll check the
2nd link above when I am ready to stand for extended times. Thanks Andy.
First I'll make a linuxcnc-backups dir here, and cp the whole
/home/linuxcnc dir of those 3 machines so I don't lose anything by
formatting those drives
Done.
And I dl'd this:linuxcnc_2.9.3-amd64.hybrid.iso
But haven't put it on dvd yet. Anything I should know about 2.9.3
running my copied back master configs?
for a fresh start. And they've all a full
desltop install of buster. drive space is not a problem, and theres is
only 1 spinning rust left out there
Which bookworm or trixie full desktop netinstall should I dl to update
those machines with? Should have an rt-preempt kernel ready to rock and
roll.
Or, should this question be asked on the debian list?
Thank you Andy.
Cheers, Gene Heskett, CET.
