Hello everyone,

I opened up a bug report for LinuxCNC in respect to building it on a musl C
library based system instead of glibc. glibc is known for many security
vulnerabilities and code complexity, however I understand it is the default C
library for Debian.

With several Linux distributions already using musl (most notably Alpine, Void,
and it being optional for Gentoo) I think it'd be great to support such a
thing. There were about 7 or 8 errors (mostly repeated) throughout the entire
LinuxCNC tree which isn't too bad I don't think considering such a major change.

I collected them here:

https://github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/issues/3185

Please let me know your thoughts and opinions. I'm happy to help anyway I can,
however I don't know C very well.

Alec
