To be fair, the documentation is not *completely* silent on tuning a PREEMPT_RT system. If I'm understanding it correctly, there is a bit about it at the bottom of https://linuxcnc.org/docs/stable/html/install/latency-test.html, though granted it could be expanded. -----------------
