Other than I first thought, this is not a Qt6 issue, which is equally limited 
in its availability:
https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=pyqt6-webengine
which is because of https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1048310
which again (from here) looks like an easy fix.

Sigh. I am tempted but I better leave this for the KDE/Qt folks of Debian.
