Seems to merge clean, and works on at least the CI platforms (which the previous one didn't) I have tested (lightly) on Buster and GPIO1.2 and Trixie with 2.2.1 ie, inputs read voltages, outputs set voltages, pullups/downs work, reset makes the LED dimmer. I haven't driven hardware (just LEDs) and I haven't tested open-source / open drain (not sure how) but I think that it ought to be working.
