It certainly is. And while LinuxCNC is not relevant to my work, I _want_ it to 
become relevant, which should suffice as a reason to use our infrastructure. 
:-) We just had a "Science Night" at the University and CNC solutions/problems 
were presented independently by a few institutes.  It is ok.
