As a relatively new subscriber, I don't know if the following information has
been posted before or not. It is prompted by the request for CENELEC URL
address. The amount of information available on the World Wide Web (WWW) is
increasing exponentially. However, the sheer volume demands some patience to
find that which is useful to you at the moment. It is like going to a huge
library without actually leaving your desk. There are some sites I have found
useful as a starting point.

www.safetylink.com

Directory of many other sites pertaining to safety, EMC, environmental, and
compliance in general.

www.?????

Regulatory Compliance Information Center (RCIC). Long, complex URL.
Access by bringing up safetylink home page and clicking on RCIC listing.
www.ansi.org

Similar to "safetylink", but less listings

www.cpsc.gov

Consumer Product Safety Commission. Useful to visit every month or so to see
latest bulletins etc. Not great for day-to-day solutions.

www.yahoo.com

This is the most popular site for most folks looking for pertinent web sites.
For example, from home page, click on "Regional", do search on "cenelec" (keyed
into search field). It says there are 1068 listings and will display 20 or so.

I encourage postings of other useful URLs. Finding these for the first time is
the primary time consumer when using the WWW.
