To: Brent Taira and anyone else wondering,

I have discussed this matter of ozone testing with UL and they said they
are taking the European approach to this clause (UL 1950 1.7.2 Note 5).
Which is, "it is the manufacturers responsibility to show that their
products can pass the limit". That is why we were going to try to set up
testing closer to our location or test ourselves if possible.
In addition, I have found that there is no testing procedure in UL 1950 for
the ozone test, just a limit of 0.1 ppm. So I was really inquiring how
others handle this testing.
I am sorry I did not communicate these facts earlier.

Thanks,

Hello,
Please give me any information about testing laboratories that can test
for ozone, at a level of 0.1 ppm (0.2 mg/m3). See UL 1950 1.7.2 Note 5.

Or if there are any places that rent this equipment. I have checked into
purchasing the instruments and it looks like the cost is not practical for
my application at this point.

Also if any one has any insight as to how to handle this UL 1950 clause
please let me know.

Thanks,
