The safety Standard UL uses in the USA for evaluating scales is UL 466, Electric Scales. Scales that have electronic computing features such as grocery scales may also be evaluated in the USA to UL 1950, the Standard for Information Technology Equipment, Including Electrical Business Equipment. We believe and are confirming that IEC 950 is the Standard that would be used in Europe for electronic scales.
