If you continue to send them via email, you:
- irritate a lot of people like me who don't have the time or
the disk space to deal with them;
- risk spreading viruses;
- bring the email transport system to its knees;
- put the "low maintenance - high value" of this email
list server at risk.
I do not wish to discourage the sharing of such information, lets just
use some netiquette. Announce the availability of files by email by
pointing the readers to a server where they can pick the information
up at their convenience.
