Richard, As far as I know, about the only country that has a specific grounding and bonding standard is Canada. Check out CSA C22.2 No. 0.4-M1982.
BTW, all of the grounding methods you describe are acceptable: 1. Dedicated post for just the safety earth wire lug. Separate post for the other bonding wire lugs. 2. Only one post. Safety earth wire lug/washer secured by one nut. Each bonding wire lug/washer secured by another nut. Please note that it is also acceptable to have several bonding wire lugs, secured by just one washer/nut (one nut for the safety earth, one for all the bonds). It is worth knowing that in the case of using a power cord (not your case), where the power cord is wired straight into the equipment, several European agencies want the safety earth wire to be on top of the stack. Apparently they consider a power cord to be likely to be replaced, so they want to disturb as little as possible. __________________________________________________________ Egon H. Varju, P.Eng.
