Hello Ray,

You should also be made aware of European Directives concerning
Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs). The European versions of MSDSs
are very different than those used in the United States and Canada.
The MSDS Directive is 91/155/EEC. This Directive defines the
implementation of Article 10 in Directive 88/379/EEC (Classification,
packaging, and labeling of dangerous preparations).

     Regards,
     Ron Wellman

     Good Afternoon,

I wish to thank all of those that have made this group possible, it
has been a great resource of information for me.

As a laboratory equipment manufacturer, we supply chemicals required
for some of the analytical processes. We have been working on the US
and Canada labeling requirements for these substances, and would like
to review the European and rest of the world issues. I have heard of
a EEC list of hazardous substances, and possibly an EC directive on
     product labeling.

I would appreciate any information on this type of labeling
requirements, Please send the info to [email protected].

     Thank you,

     Ray Russell
