Terry,

I believe it depends on whether you ship the end product with or
without the power supply. If you ship the end product with the power
supply, I don't think you need the electrical ratings on the end
product. However, if the supply does not ship with the end product,
you need to mark the product with it's electrical ratings and provide
instructions to the user to select the appropriate supply.

I would confirm this with your UL engineer, as the above is a general
statement and may not apply to your specific product.

By the way, on another subject this group has been discussing
regarding certification of safety engineers, the University of
Underwriters Labs has been cranking out safety engineers into industry
     for years.

Hello again:

What is UL's FUS concern with a Listed Power Supply sold as an
accessory for a manufacturer's UL cUL listed DC powered (5, +12,-12 VDC) powered

device.
IF the accessory power supply, OEM supplied under their own name and
model is CE, CSA (NRTL/c),VDE, SEMKO, DEMKO marked how
does this affect their Listing marking a product using that supply?
It is an external desk top supply.

Thanks for any input you have.
Best regards,
Terry J. Meck
