We have different opinions about this inside our company. What is the opininion of the EMC-PSTC group ?
One of our products is an ISA PC Plug-In card. Now the card has a radio because it is a Wireless Lan Server/Client card. Some say : This product is ITE equipment because it fits into a PC and therefor we do not have to follow route 10.5 of the EMC directive. No Notified Body involved. Other say : This is a Radiocommunications equipment and therefor we have to follow route 10.5. So we need a CE-Certificate from a Notified Body. What is the opinion of the group?
