I am preparing the capital budget and justification for emissions, immunity, and safety testing capability for test and measurement systems 77" (196 cm) high, 75 (190 cm) long and 44.5" (113 cm) wide and weighing up to 5600 pounds (2586 kg) with 45K VA power input from a four wire delta, 3 phase plus ground.
1) I'd like to hear from associates with first hand experience using the EMC tents which are advertised on page A112 of the Compliance Engineering 1996 Reference Guide by Cornwell Product Ltd as proven EMC screening fabric (over 80dB attentuation) for emission and immunity testing. The EMC tent sounded cost effective for setting up a large test area but does it really do the job? 2) I'd like to hear from associates with first hand experience testing very large 3 phase up to 100 A per phase systems regarding preferred test equipment for 3 phase power souces/variacs, 3 phase power analzyers, ground continuity (over 60A).
