Good Day All: I am trying to determine the appropriate safety standards to use for a piece of Test and Measuring Equipment which is intended to be connected as terminal equipment to the public telephone network.
In particular I would like to know: What standards have been published in the EU's Official Journal as acceptable for showing compliance with the TTE Directive ? Or perhaps someone would know what issue of the journal that was in and I could try to reference that ? I have been looking at EN60950 clause 6 and EN41003, but there seem to be a lot of NET's, CTR's and ETSI standards involved in this arena and I am unsure how involved I need to be with them from the safety end of the picture.
