Greetings,

I have seen this discussion before and I apoligize in advance if I am
re-hashing old information.

I have a computer peripheral which needs to be FCC Class B ceritfied. I have
tried several host computers and the hosts tend to have "poor" margins (i.e.
less than 0).

The peripheral is low speed and plugs into the serial port. So far we have
seen no difference in emission level whether it is on or off.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a "golden" computer which actually meets
the FCC Class B limits with some margin (>6dB)? Am I better off using one
right out of the box rather than one that has been on someones desk for awhile?

Thanks in advance
