plane I don't think galvanized materials are very good for a uniform conductive surface. Zinc forms a 'self-protective' oxide barrier which is terrific for protection against the elements. Unfortunately the oxide thickness is somewhat variable which results in a very variable surface resistivity (zinc oxide is an insulator). I caution that the variable surface resitivity combined with skin-effect with increasing frequency might yield uncontolled results. One scary thought is an effective discontinuity forming a dipole radiator----
