Hi Bill,
Happy New Year.
We have checked the Korean Regulation. According to these regulation only
Monitor, Printer and the adapter for a notebook PC require safety approval
(similar as IEC950).
But all ITE equipment needs EMI approval. From July 1997 the EMI standard
for personal computer will be changed from FCC Part 15 to CISPR 22.
Please feel free to contact us should you need more information.
You also can contact our Korea Branch in Seoul. Contact person is Mr.
Stefan Reis, Tel +82-2-783-9251, Fax +82-2-783-9253

Hello Everyone,

Does anyone have information concerning approval to Korea, ie. EMC,
SAFETY and TELECOM(analog)? I am primarily looking for Agencies and
Standards. Will Korea accept European CE stuff (safety/emi)?

Thanks in advance for your help,

Regards

Bill Pedersen
