Hello everybody, I have been looking for a software that can do EMI/ EMC simulation for a 3D structure. Is there any software that can handle a little more complex structures like a box with different size openings, I would imagine that this software would need an input info. like: The material of the box, the shielding layers, the PCB wiring diagram, the components layout on the board, and the other detailed parameters that should follow. I have already checked out a product made by HP called HFSS which is quite powerful except it might not be very accurate and/or fast to handle large structures ( such as a10" X 5"X3" volume sizes). It will be very nice to have such a tool where you can predict the EM radiation for a product design that is only on paper. That way you can optimize your design to meet your criteria without the need of physically changing the model.
