I agree with the concept of a world wide standard - with more & more countries signing up to CISPR 22 that is happening. I believe what is really needed is consistent application of EMC legislation. The varying definitions on a country by country basis of commercial/residential and verification vs. certification approval is MORE frustrating to me.
